The whole match against Switzerland was exciting and it looked like Spain might draw with them but a last minute goal won 3–2. Pedri continued to play in frustration as he missed a penalty on 32 minutes and Spain went ahead shortly after with a fine goal from Jeremy Pino. During the first half, the Swiss team could not return to parity, but in the 63rd minute of the match, they equalized with a goal, and the strength of the Spanish players led again after 5 minutes, they started several attacks. They became more aggressive with Brian Gill's goal celebration, although Switzerland were back on level terms in the 85th minute of the match. The visitors might have thought that the game was going to end in a draw between them but another penalty in extra time saw Spain get the desired goal from the penalty spot and eventually the Spanish team walked away with the win. I am certainly hopeful that Spain will be able to perform better in the coming seasons and be able to give the World Cup a performance they deserve.
Two important players of Spain squad Dani Olmo and Yamal were not in the squad in this match. If these two players were in the squad, maybe we would have seen a better gameplay from Spain. Even then, Spain's players were able to perform very well. And won the match 3-2.
However, after Switzerland scored the second goal in just the 85th minute, I also thought the match was going to be a draw. But at the last moment, Zaragoza scored from the penalty spot and Spain was able to win the match 3-2. In the first half, Pedri failed to score from the penalty spot. Otherwise, Spain would have been able to win this match easily. Even then, Spain was able to get full points from the match until the end.
