They should know their boundaries and limitations as without following it, the very chance that they will just repeat itself and continue losing their money, the tendency is to keep pushing yourself finding your luck but due to uncontrolled habits, instead of quitting you'll going to push for more, those kind of situations are the factors that leads each gamblers to poverty as there's no more limits with their gambling participations.

If the gambler knows the limits of his abilities before addiction and tries to continue to be consistent in keeping with the allocation that has been prepared, the gambler will not experience losses that continue to deplete the assets he has.
But the situation will be different if the gambler is no longer in control of the finances he uses for gambling, then it gets worse when addiction puts the gambler in a more difficult situation. Everything will certainly be gone in gambling addiction.

There are good things that might happen if you are in full control, though the risk is high of making mistakes while participating in any types of games that you are involve. You need to have that good anticipation to make sure that you can execute that full stop when you already reached the limits that you setup.

Gambling can be only referred as a short cut to poverty when the gambler becomes addicted to it. Gambling addiction is very deadly and would render whoever that's addicted to it poor and financial lack which is why gamblers are always advised to gamble responsibly and to take control of their gambling engagements. So if you know you gamble responsibly, I don't think you should have any fear of becoming poor because of your gambling activities.
I will make gambling as fun and not consider it as usual activity. If someone has the ability to manage in what he have done, I think it shouldn't problem if he can handle it well. We often to see people who don't understand how to manage it so that bankrupt and blame them if they cheat, and drain their money away. So, what gamblers have done now is how do they play is, it depends also on his educational qualifications and social skills, if both of these are lower it will also affect with the way they play.
Gambling depends upon one's education and social skills in terms of knowing better about different games through social communication and by means of developing strategies for different games that might work at times and don't most of the time. Beyond education and social skills, it is the self-discipline that he has developed within himself that keeps him within the limits. Being greedy is common, but this can be overcome with ease when a person is self-disciplined. Whether we get into poverty through gambling or have additional entertainment depends on how we consider gambling.

Very good point, greed is controllable by self-discipline a hard stop that you need to execute each time you hit your limits, no need to think twice it's always best to keep in line with your plan strategy and not to missed things to keep yourself safe losing huge amount that you are unwilling to let go.
