I think the issues surrounding Manchester city are beyond injury worries, for me, I believe their problems are multi dimensional, ranging from injury worries, psychological, the intensifying nature of the competition and the loses they experience which could as a result of the other factors I earlier mentioned, now it important to know that all of these factors are capable of affecting the performance of the team and probably causing them the title but it all depends on the coach and how fast he can put his house in order before things really get messy or worse than they are. I think they have been through such a situation before and they came out better, so let's see who they will navigate through this too.
Manchester City has a very busy schedule. Manchester City players are performing in the Premier League, Champions League and EFL Cup matches. This is why City players are facing injuries. In the last match, Manchester City team played without three important players like Ruben Dias, Graeme Lisbon and Rodri. Due to the injuries of important players in the squad, Manchester City's overall performance is now a bit erratic.
Manchester City has lost consecutively in the last four matches. Guardiola has probably not faced such a situation in the last 7 years. Due to the international break, Guardiola has got a long time to find out the problems of the squad. If Guardiola is able to find out the weaknesses of the players, then I believe he will also be able to find solutions to the problems. I believe that we will see more organized gameplay from Manchester City players in the coming matches.
I think the issue of multiple engagements have been taken care of as Manchester city have been eliminated from the EFL cup and are now left with the champions League, the premiership and the FA cup to contend with for now, but for the problems rocking the team, am sure Pep Guardiola would figure out something because this particular situation is not new to him though not at this dimension but am sure he is up to the task based on his level of professionalism and years of experience in coaching roles across different clubs.
