The current Spain team is very strong. And Spain has already proven its ability. Although most of the players in the Spanish squad are young, Spain is able to perform well. The bonding between the players is very strong. This is why the Spanish players are able to play well against the big teams. If Dani Olmo and Yamal were in the Spanish squad today, we might have seen a stronger gameplay than Spain.
I was waiting to see Spain's dominance against Switzerland. Spain dominated the match. The Spanish players were able to attack a lot. However, even then the Spanish team conceded two goals. After Spain's defense was strong enough, the Swiss players were able to score two goals. Spain needs to work more on their defense.
Spain is the latest winners, and they are not really doing that badly, this new whole system does bring in a lot of trouble to players but that doesn't mean that we are going to see this changing anytime soon, UEFA likes this new system and keeps doing it but players keep getting injured because club games did not get any less, but this nations league were added a few seasons ago, so Spain may have some trouble with injuries. I am saying this because they are already missing Rodri we know that, and last I remember Olmo wasn't looking healthy neither and now we are hearing Yamal is out as well.
So when you think all of this, I am not entirely sure if Spain would be that great, we could see them do fine but we could see them not doing all that great neither. We have to see how their injuries play out during the season but whichever good team has less injuries will end up being the winner of this without a doubt. France still has a chance if they recover first.
