You've just stated the fact and that is the truth, Neymar Jr hasn't really made much good impact to Al-Hilal since he joined the club due to injury and underperformance. I don't know if these Saudi teams derive joy in spending money on unproductive players just for them to answer that they have big players in their team. I quite agree with you on the second option because they will basically prefer to give him another season since they have enough money to throw around.
