No need to be confirmed as it is already know by most users that since few years ago (not sure the date), new users are required to undergo KYC in order to be able to deposit and play.
Old users who created the account before the change (like me) is still able to play without KYC even the KYC level 1.
But for sure a change may happen sooner or later when all users are required to undergo KYC especially old users who have not did it.
You can find some share from these new users on their dedicated forum, I do believe it has been discussed in this thread as well since the change for on the KYC.

I am one of the users who believes that KYC will be applied to all users including old users because this is a global rule, what's happening right now is that Stake is standing in a vague area regarding KYC because most users have not carried out full KYC but stake knows how to take a position by implementing KYC based on levels even though it's the basic/first level yeah it's still KYC and it meets global requirements. Currently, to claim double bonuses for several events, users must go through KYC and we don't know that in the next few years, to claim the monthly bonus we will also have to go through KYC, right. Personally, I am ready if this rule is implemented in the future because this casino is the most comfortable in my opinion.

This KYC has really become mandatory, as after the deadline and the user has not submitted the KYC, the account will only be in “withdrawal only mode” based on the email I got "Update to Level 2 verification by December 31st 2024 to prevent your account from being set to withdraw only mode.". Thus, there may be no more tolerance to use gambling platforms without KYC, because KYC has been required to comply with applicable rules. Maybe in some other gambling platforms they still do not really require KYC, so they will still have many users and are active in gambling. But for  gambling platforms that have implemented KYC, then there may also be a reduction of a few percent because we know, that not all users are willing to KYC.
