Considering his injuries struggle and the doping scandal he faced, it will be not be easy for any big European team to take the gamble to sign him even if he reduced his wages. In my opinion, a move to the Saudi Pro league will be wise on his part, as it will offer him a chance to rebuild his career in a less demanding environment with an attractive contract. Joining the Saudi Pro league would not hinder his chances of returning to the french national team. We've seen similar cases before with players like N'golo kanté moving to the Saudi league and yet still plays for France national team.
