Yes, we think such things about Saudi Arabia, but there are still players who return to Europe after Saudi Arabia. There are also some players who see it as a place to earn money. I think Paul Pogba could be one of them. At the end of the two years he spends in Saudi Arabia, he can earn good money and return to Europe. In addition, he will get used to football again during this time.

After two seasons in Saudi Arabia, he is no longer young and it may be difficult for him to get a place in a European team.
Saudi Arabia is a place for players to earn money and there they can be fulfilled regarding finances as agreed by the players.
I do not expect Pogba to take that step because for now he is still able to compete with other players when playing in Europe.
But as long as the interest of European clubs is not directed at him, the decision to go to Saudi Arabia may be a much more appropriate step.
the issue is that its going to be more difficult for him to break into any of the European team at the moment compared to getting his career started at Saudi Arabia. what he needs now is not just hoping that because of his past reputation he can easily break into any of the top leagues, he need to start first and maybe with time and based on his performance, he can become a consideration if he will be called up in a big team. if he does well in the Saudi league and hopefully get called up to play for France that could be a way of injecting life into his his career but truth is that he is not going to be an alpha player like he was in the past. no English team will want to sign a 32 year old Stricker that should be thinking retirement when there are a lot young and talented players that are available for the role. the reality is that time runs too fast and once your time is up, you cant recover them again. for Pogba, his time is almost up and if he's lucky enough to get a second chance of playing for the Saudi league, that's even fair for him.
