#3 Poker is a game of math experts: While basic math will give you an advantage in poker, you do not have to be a math genuis to be good at it. Even if you are just good at reading your opponents, you can win as much!
Who said that Poker is a game of math experts? I'd say that roulette and slots are mostly games of math experts because they have to calculate the probability of different events. To win Poker, you need to be good at psychology, you need to be an expert in human body language to know when they are bluffing, when their emotions are true and etc... It's also important to play Poker in real life to increase your chances because online you can't look at their face and understand their expressions, online you can only analyze their behaviour from previous games.
Are there any more myths you believe in? Or would want to be debunked? Let’s discuss!
There is a myth that live casino games are rigged, which I completely disagree with because I've worked myself and know what the situation is there. Absolutely every live game is 100% fair but people don't want to believe the truth.
I would have to agree poker is just as much up to chance as a slot machine playing the hand you are dealt but the real fun part of the game is trying to read through someone's bluff. I've also never heard about there being a math element to poker but I suppose it would have to be more of probability math if I were to guess.
On the other one about casino games being rigged I wouldn't say they are fully rigged because then nobody would keep playing and that would mess up the whole groove of things but I would say that the house definitely has the edge.
