They already have Joshua Zirkzee and Rasmus Hojlund what else do they need a new striker for?
Both players has failed to perform has expected for the team to become better, definitely it us expected for any new Manchester United coach to go for a proper striker especially when they know how poor the current attacks are in making better used  of chances created in many games. I hope Ruben Amorim can make a better decision on players to sign than Erik Ten Hag whose picks often turn out poorly for the team.
True, as far as we have seen, Zirkzee and Hojlund have not been able to meet the expectations according to their prices. If Manchester United is ambitious to become a title challenger, then the management should recruit players who are sharper than the two strikers. However, who knows Zirkzee and Hojlund will develop better when handled by Ruben Amorim, maybe previously they had difficulty playing and understanding the strategy implemented by Ten Hag. I think, for this season Ruben Amorim will continue to rely on his two strikers. Manchester United style of play in the future will certainly change completely, adjusting to the wishes of the new coach. At Sporting CP, Ruben Amorim implemented an attacking style of play with a three-defender formation, and this will make the players in the front line more productive.
Ruben Amorim maybe able to do this but if they can show proof before the January transfer window opens then more likely  he might just want to work with them.

Chelsea was in the same scenario when Enzo Maresca came, he was looking for a proper nine but failing to land Osimhen, we haven't complained much about it because Jackson is more sharper now while Nkunku is much available and not like last season where he was often out because of injuries. The players willingness to improved is a key factor for all this to be possible.
