I also feel another reason why Pep extended his contract is because he wants to have a feel of some of the teams that made him lose point and also the new managers who are coming to the EPL. And he also said they shouldn't ask him why he added 2yrs to his contract, maybe because of the 4 games he lost in a row that's why he's staying he said. But I feel this man wants to set the team to be as deadly as it were before leaving the club because as it is the club is gradually fading away which to him is going to be bad if he leaves, so staying to fix things is the best.
I think his reason extended his contract for fixing four games lost is look irrational to me. Because no existing league is very competitive with the premier league. Pep felt he must stay until finds another competitive league that had a challenge for him. Right now only the premier league is suitable for him. It seems impossible he wants back to la Liga, or back to the Bundesliga in near time, because he's been there, and knows much about how both leagues work. While in Serie A, he has another opportunity to move there, but the condition right now thing he must stay on england, because of the condition of the club doesn't really fit into the scheme.
