Guess I was too quick to make a comment about Bayern Munich's form and performance against Augsburg. 6 wins in a row for them and 8 points clear of the 2nd placed RB Leipzig and it's enough to say Vincent Kompany has made his mark in the club and to seal it, he'd have to win the Bundesliga.
They totally dominated the game with a total of 33 shots and 14 on target but if you ask me, I'd say Bayern Munich deserved to win the game with a larger number of goals but that notwithstanding, they still held their record, maintained a clean sheet and still lead on in the standings so I'd say Bayern had a good night.
Yea, in this particular match, I don't blame people that was quick to blame Bayern, especially those that watched the match. I know what it means to start scoring from the second half when you have been hugely tipped to win the match. It was after 60 mins that Harry Kane found the first net and the rest goals came after 90 mins. It wasn't an easy match but the result will make it appear easy. 3 points claimed by the Muchens, clean sheet and hatrick for king Harry.
If you had watched the first half, you will definitely see why people could blame Bayern Munic because their performance was below expectations. I was even afraid initially thinking that it was not a lucky day for Bayern Munic as they were unable to score even up to the second half if not that they got the penalty at the 63rd minute the Harry Kane converted and put them on the lead. The second penalty came in at the dying minutes which was also converted by same Harry before he scored the only real goal of the match at extra time to make the much a sure win for the German champions. Since they got the maximum point at the end of the day, that is what really matters.
In the match between Bayern Munich and Augsburg, both teams looked strong to me in the first half. Because at that time the players of Bayern Munich were not able to score even though they attacked a lot. However, they were far ahead of Augsburg in ball passing and ball positioning. After the break, England striker Harry Kane scored from a penalty to put them ahead. Then again in extra time the Harry Kane scored from a penalty, followed by another just two minutes later to make it three goals alone in the match. In that match, Bayern Munich's players performed better in the second half than in the first half, after which they were able to win the man. Harry Kane has contributed the most to the victory of Bayern Munich in that match.
