Bitcoin has really changed the way we see currencies and we don't have to always be dependent on fiat currency when we can hold and keep our currency digitally. Since the launch of Bitcoin, we have seen huge market dominance in the blockchain aspect, and now people are seeing good reasons why they have to keep their funds digitally without any third part in between. Bitcoin has really changed the history of money and we are now heading to digital money era where there will be no need to hold fiat currency for us to carry out transactions.
What you say is the original purpose of bitcoin was created but look at what is happening is that true? I mean, would you put all your money into bitcoin with the intention of not relying on a 3rd party and using it to make daily transactions instead of fiat? Or are you using it as a speculative asset and at the end of the day when you have enough profit, you will convert it to fiat?
I don't see the fiat era going away and the crypto era dominating the world.
Honestly, I don't know if bitcoin will create any monetary revolution but right now I see bitcoin only creating new investment opportunities for people, nothing more, nothing less. And this investment only benefits those who have the knowledge and know how to take advantage of it, not the whole world benefits or it can help everyone.
