It's a good piece you have there, thank you for it. I am not a gambling addict and neither have I had any issue related to gambling but at times when I see what will help others, I appreciate it as if it is me who it will help.

As for the points, they are accurate enough but they depend on the stage of the addiction. I believe that anyone who can accept the loss is already a winner because if you accept the loss then you will move on and it ends like that. This may not need telling people as stated in point number 2. But if the person is of the weak mind, why not? This will help to build the mind better. I know because I have been in that shoes before, telling people about your addiction helps a lot if you can't use professional help yet.
