As a gambler with many years of experience, there is something I feel is critical and worth paying attention to. When you want to sign up at a new online casino, assuming you have heard many things about the casino and you want to play some games there. After you sign up to play, do you deposit a huge amount of money and start playing or do you put in a smaller amount to test the waters? I am reading of a case where casinos usually will come up with stringent KYC procedures when you attempt to withdraw your winnings. The implication is that these measures might be designed to frustrate gamblers into spending their deposits before they can successfully withdraw. I don't know how true this is but it is very likely that stuffs like this happens. What are your opinions on this?
There should be a point where one has to draw the line and caution to be taken, it's not just about casinos alone, even some exchanges that I used whether they verify my identity or not, I get scared when big amount of money is involve in their platform. Big amount of money with casino most often usually cause problem and what I have observe with the casinos is that they wouldn't complain when you gamble and lose but might delay your withdrawals if large amount of money is involved.
Just to be safe, I think it's better to deposit small amount of money and then with time you can increase the amount of money you deposit into the casino but as you are making the deposit and gambling, you should also be withdrawing some amount of money as well to know if it's safe to add or remove everything from the casino completely.
