That's exactly the point. If someone cries out for help, then you can possibly guide them if you have solution to their issues but If you don't, then you can refer them to something that can help them. I just don't know why some people doesn't realize it until it's too late.
If it starts with a sincere intention, there must be a way to stop even though the person's involvement has entered the addiction category, but the healing process may take a long time and also requires much more control from those closest to them. Other healing methods can refer to psychological places where people can be more directed to be healed based on their abilities.

In essence, we only need to provide encouragement to addicted people so that they can be more motivated to stop and the rest provide more positive activities so that they don't remember the gambling that they often do.
Someone who is addicted to gambling will find it difficult to recover, and to recover they must have awareness, while for people who are addicted they tend not to think twice before gambling, they will only think about winning which makes them not consider the actions they will take even though it is high risk. With people who are addicted to gambling, in my opinion they have the wrong initial intention where they think that they will be able to win easily while the reality is not like that. Advising him to reduce gambling activities is a must, especially if it is a close relative, but have you ever experienced where you are annoyed because you have often advised him but there is no change in the addict? I have experienced this and what I did in the end was to let him be until he was really miserable and regretted all his careless actions.
