I can say about sports betting.
The bulk of the events take place on weekends, and during the week I can select and analyze matches that seem interesting to me for betting. Therefore, I prefer to make 1-2 online bets per day (I may not even place bets if I do not see anything interesting) and analyze the weekend matches.
On Friday, I look through the list of selected matches and do a quick check for injuries or other important news. If the odds are good, I place bets the day before the match.
On weekends, I place online bets on selected matches.
Usually for me, weekends is for sports betting, as you have said, there are a lot of games or fights if you are a into boxing or UFC and you can sit and watch it with your friends for a come over and have BBQ and then beer.
But when it comes to land base casinos, sometimes I just have to go with my wife and enjoy and have some fun anytime. As long as our schedule is not that busy, even at Monday night when everything has been settled down, we go drive and play at least 2-3 years and that's it.
I'm not that fan of online games, but I do play if I wanted to. But the real fun for us is to go on traditional casinos with friends and family members.
