It was kin dog expected because Juventus is playing draws almost all the time. No goals was unexpected, I agree. Pretty weird. But Juventus is conceding hardly any goals, scoring any goals. In a certain sense, it was almost predictable.
Talking about defense then I can say Juventus is the team with the most solid defense in Serie A. They have only conceded 7 goals in 12 games. But it seems they can't take advantage of that. They have 7 draws and 6 wins without a defeat. I don't know if they are struggling to create chances or they need a playmaker or a striker with good finishing ability. This is a problem for Juventus because they should have got a better result. But for now I think this is a fair result for both teams. They have equal statistical records in this match. And yes it seems both teams played at a slow tempo in this match.

That is of course correct, but as you can see this is of barely any help if you want to win titles when actually your offense can't win the game either. Sure it is always good to have a rock solid defense, but Juventus Turin has higher ambitions than just playing most of the games 0-0 or 1-1. 0-0 against Roma, Empoli, Napoli, and Milan and then several games that ended 1-1. It is not that exciting obviously and I as a fan would hate it if my team is all about the defense.

Lucky them that Napoli was dropping points already or otherwise they would be miles behind in the table despite not losing any games. Next stop is Aston Villa for them and it is probably not going to be another draw without goals.
