Okay thanks for the information. I do like exodus, the concern is just about it being a closed source software. I decided if I begin using another wallet I'm just going to send it and pay the gas fee rather than try to import keys.

If you want that multi-cryptocurrency feature, theres unstoppable wallet. It's open source and reputable. Though I've heard of some syncing issues here and there and have personally experienced if a few times but that was long ago.

Exodus may not be too bad as long as you can manage the risk. For instance, I wouldn't keep it in the same device I do important things. Also, don't treat it as your main wallet and only do small amounts of money. I also have secondary hot wallets for some quick spending lol.

If you're only storing BTC, there's no need for a multi-cryptocurrency wallet.
