As a gambler with many years of experience, there is something I feel is critical and worth paying attention to. When you want to sign up at a new online casino, assuming you have heard many things about the casino and you want to play some games there. After you sign up to play, do you deposit a huge amount of money and start playing or do you put in a smaller amount to test the waters? I am reading of a case where casinos usually will come up with stringent KYC procedures when you attempt to withdraw your winnings. The implication is that these measures might be designed to frustrate gamblers into spending their deposits before they can successfully withdraw. I don't know how true this is but it is very likely that stuffs like this happens. What are your opinions on this?
Such stuffs happens and are very common, if you are the type of gambler to loves to jump from one casino to another, specially the new casinos, then you should have encountered such an issue with one or more casino, for even some known og casinos use this trick at times to steal back the money their user won from them..

For me though, I usually don't go from one casino to another except I have some special kind of bonus on the other casino and needs to use it so it doesn't expire.
But assuming I saw a casino a like and decided to sign up there to try the casino, I usually will start by depositing a small amount of fund in there and start playing with that, small amount can range from $10 to $50 or less, but must not be more than $50, with this amount, if anything goes wrong that I can't withdraw the money, it won't be too painful to loose it.
