This match against Ipswich was the perfect match he should have used to announce himself in the premier league by scoring lots of goals and not going to drop point. This game was like a lost and not a draw. Manchester United scored very early in the match and it gave lost of fans hope that they have found a manager that can make them play better but they couldn't score again and let in an equalizer. Amorin is already feeling the pressure of the premier league as he has said he hasn't faced the amount of press that he has faced in just few days of being in the premier league when compared to all his stay at sporting. He needs to realize that he's in a big club now and not a small club.
I think this statement has nothing to do with the match but he was just saying how you’ll always have to respond to banter or many talks in the media space when you’re in a team like Manchester United and when playing in the premier league. He said the players don’t have confidence in themselves and are scared in some way, and until they overcome those fear will they be able to perform well.
Playing against Ipswich should have been an easier game for him after seeing the number of games he has managed under Sporting Lisbon and won with good margin. This may be his first game but more was expected from him since he was playing against a small team. This defeat still means nothing to what he can still do for the club, I’m optimistic he’ll do well for Manchester United and they’ll come out better this season.
