Bitcoin education is good but the content is the key, I see a lot of Bitcoin conferences becoming get rich quick events, memecoins and some scam tokens with projects that promise you a lot of profits with minimal effort. If they were taught the basics of money, saving and how to avoid debt crisis. Taking Bitcoin as an example of cheap international transactions and long term investment, as well as the basics of creating a wallet and avoiding scams would be great.
You have said it all. Those conferences or seminar is are not really aim to teach the students the real content but to extract funds from the students. And there are different ways those instructors extract funds from those students and such as: Buying of bitcoin materials and giving money to the instructors to invest for them. I have attended such cryptocurrency classes so I know how those guys do things. Their main aim of such programme is to make money.
Though the students will not pay attendance or entry fee but at the end they will spend good amount of money to learn more. There different strategies those guys used. Therefore as you said, it is a program of get rich quick for the instructors.
