Premiums are pretty much non-existent due to current pricing of bitcoin.
Best move is to peel/redeem the coin and then if you don't want the carcass, can auction off/sell on here.
Current market value is around $1000 per coin (per Ebay sales)
Happy to help with any logistics/escrow needed
MJ...been a while, how are things?
We knew these Casascius premiums would fade under a fiat system in dollar-fiat denominated exchange terms...but once the world moves to The Bitcoin Standard, everything changes. Numismatic premiums are orders of magnitude beyond face value for historically important pieces. Most everyone currently believes these have little to no premium value atm, so the vast majority will be redeemed and ruined...hence very few will survive. Given Mike Caldwell's contributions in the early days, and the prominent place these coins hold in Bitcoin lore, along with human affinity for physical collectible objects...wouldn't be surprised to see a healthy premium for the few Cas coins that remain once the dollar valuation relevance (and the importance of fiat generally) disappears.
