It's still valid because Solana price was above $260 days ago, but now it is lower than $250 and its price can be above or under $250 at the end of 2024. We only can know it after the year 2024 ends.
This prediction is not like you thought, it's not like "Whether price of Solana will be above $250 within 2024 year?"
Once Bitcoin rising, altcoin will follow and so do for Solana while right now, it seems Bitcoin still go down and touch $94k and make Solana goes down to $236.
We still have a month to see what will happen to Bitcoin and Solana so the chance for Solana to be above $250 will still wide open. They can change the question to other things or they can make another new bet.
Bitcoin can have another climb before it steps down and gives the show to altcoin, altcoin season will come soon after Bitcoin breaks $100,000. When capital is out of Bitcoin, it will find altcoins and kick off the altcoin season.
This season is a little different, meme coins, small cap and mid cap altcoins rose before Ethereum, but I believe that when Ethereum makes its new all time high, altcoin season will officially start and recent rises of altcoins are like a warming up session.

That will difficult to guess how much Solana price could be in 2025. This coin can surprise us in the long term. But I guess Solana can reach for $400 in 2025 because the potentially for many altcoins to explode in the next altcoin season still wide open. That is because Bitcoin price can be more than $110,000 in the next 2025 in the next bull run.
