Of course, it is realistic for Dogecoin to reach $1, if Bitcoin can reach the trillions of dollars mark, it means any coin can garner the needed liquidity over time, but enough patience is needed before that is possible. Now, what I want us to consider is "hope." Has Dogecoin reached that level of hope yet? Certain not. I don't think it will reach its ATH this season, and if it can't reach that level this season, how are we sure it will reach it in the next season, especially when more coins/tokens would have been injected into the market to reduce the liquidity flow to existing ones. I can only favour a progressive coin if the ATH is breached higher, then we can talk about the "hope" of reaching the $1 mark.
