Yeah, there is no doubt in that, if from inside you have deficiency of knowledge and motivation and you have accepted your nature and life style. Then even if you are given $1 million you will just spend them on you and won't use it to make more money.
Those who are rich I have seen they don't waste money they even don't waste money on things which are necessary instead they have enough resources to do the things in cheaper ways. Thy always comes with cheaper ways like a birthday party. Smart ones don't waste extra money but keep them simple but most of the people fighting with inflation celebrate birthdays by spending a lot of money.

But I think the reason why the rich people don’t buy expensive things and materials is because they have already reached and always have everything they want in their space, so they don’t really do much materialistic stuff. The rich people always do their analysis on how to get more money. They wish every single dollar that enters their hand can be used for business to get more money,
while the poor are not the same because someone who is poor needs many things to settle down with their life before they can think about starting a business to multiply the money, although $1 million is enough of money seriously, and they believe regardless of how bad it's that if someone gets $1 million, you are rich unless the person squanders the money in the wrong way.
