I find those who blame Pep Guardiola silly. Man City is still ranked 2nd in the rankings. do they want Man City to always be on top of the copy? Every team has to go through a period of decline. They will have to start building a new squad with young players, just like how Real Madrid is changing.
Man City have won the Premier League four seasons in a row, are consistently competing in the Champions League, and now it's time for them to weaken to give other teams a chance. They shouldn't dominate the league for too long, it won't be interesting if they keep winning. This could be a good thing for the league.
It’s breaks my heart to see how fans criticize Pep Guardiola for Manchester City poor performance in this last five games. Pep said it before, the Premier League is very competitive and it is almost impossible for any team to consistently dominate for a very long period of time. A temporary dip in form should not overshadow the consistency and progress he has brought to Manchester City. Similarly, the challenges Real Madrid is facing under Carlo Ancelotti do not necessarily reflect poorly on him. The challenges may be largely affected by injuries.
