Personally I will never let my parents be in a nursing home because they are indeed our responsibility as children and they even take care of us from childhood to adulthood like now. For people who live alone because they do not have children, maybe a nursing home is a decent place because there they are someone who takes care of everything. It feels strange to me because they are elderly but still have time to think about gambling even though at their age it is better to enjoy life.
That's why we need to get married so that when we become elderly there is someone to take care of us because life in old age will be much more difficult when no one takes care of us. Children will be the last hope for parents because without children in old age our lives will be much worse and no one will see us in a sick condition.
That should have been done, with those who are willing for their parents to live in nursing homes in my opinion are irresponsible people. This happened in my environment, there was a mother who lived quite a difficult life alone even though she had three children who now live in the city, whether they work or what, but there was news that she was married. At one time the mother fell ill and no one took care of her until finally she lived in my house because she was my grandmother's friend. The annoying thing was that the mother died in my house but none of her children came home to attend her mother's death, this was very annoying, even I myself who did not know her child was annoyed by her child's behavior. This is the importance of parental education given to their children, because it will determine whether they will be dutiful children or not in the future.
