A PMC mining contest @ Hashcows
Prizes:
Most PMC earned in a month: 1 BTC
Second Most earned in a month: 0.5 BTC
Third Most earned in a month: 0.25 BTC
Random prize to ANYONE who earned at least 100 PMC: 0.25 BTC
( Yes, I said BTC not PMC )
This will require stats from 'nearmiss' of Hascows...

It's a great idea, but who is going to fund it? If you would want to fund it with PMC you need to sell 15-20k PMC, which would probably crash the price.
We could also groupbuy one of those new 60mhs or 75mhs miners, and point them to the hashcows pool

How much do they cost these days?
May be we should wait till they get a bit cheaper
Current prices at lightningasic are (excluding import tax etc):
15mhs: 3000usd
30mhs: 5800usd
75mhs: 10000usd
90mhs: 12000usd
We could wait until the first batch has been delivered, and more suppliers start popping up. The price will probably go down then.
If we really want to go through with it, I am willing to host the miner for just the power cost (for as long as it is profitable). We could distribute the profits among the investors, donate a part of it or whatever we choose.
