Man City need a win to boost their morale and confidence but unfortunately, they will be facing Liverpool who are currently in good form. So obviously it will be a tough game for Man City, and I think another defeat will be even more damaging to their mentality.
Liverpool are clearly the favorites in this match because their performance is on fire and they will be playing as hosts. Man City may not have a big chance of winning but that doesn't mean they will lose just like that because they are Man City and whatever it is they are still a big team, who can make a comeback.
No matter who they are facing, Manchester City has to get a win, there is no other scenario and considering if they lose this one too, the gap would be 11 points, so there is no situation where City could recover from that ever, they have to realize it is not going to work at all. They must get a win and they will put everything they have into this game, everyone has to run everywhere, and they have to be out of breath and tired and cramping after the game because I want to see everyone putting 100% on the line. If they don't, then we could easily say that after winning so many titles, they just went complacent because they do not feel the need to win anymore, they don't care about winning much because they already won so much.
