Should I say they escaped, well,
Manchester United played good today. They could have gotten smoked but they didn’t. They came right back in the game, just before the end of second half. Scored that early second half goal and was able to hold there lead till the final whistle.
Spurs couldn’t seal there game in a win, I expected that of them at least. Roma is good but, considering the form of Spurs, this should have been a 3 points for them but sadly, they had to share points with Roma in a 2:2 scoreline.
Fine it was not their best performance but I wouldn’t say Manchester United escaped against Bodo Glimt. Manchester United were able to achieve good result with all three points. And as for Tottenham Hotspur, their game against Roma was a disappointing one. They constantly lost the lead in the first half and second respectively.
Manchester United game plan changed. Amorim actually did say that we will see a significant difference in the playing style and I did see the difference in the match between Bodo. Although, the Bodo side is considered an average club but they can be used to measure.
I am confident that Amorim will do better with Manchester United especially after the January open window. If the 3 man defence works and the boys are able to press, all will be well.
