With Vinícius Junior and Rodrygo too, it is expected of Mbappe to cease the opportunity and prove his worth. Mbappe is a world class player and I know he has what it takes to success at Real Madrid. Mbappe form for Madrid might be affected by the fact that Real Madrid is a big club and much is expected from him immediately at the club or it may be due to the fact of changing environment from a lesser competitive league to a more competitive one. Inasmuch as mbappe is not a traditional number 9 player I think singing of Viktor gyökeres would not be necessary as I believe Mbappe will surely adapt to his new surroundings and contribute effectively to the success of Real Madrid at large.
From my observations it looks like the expectations on mbappe is making many others blind to his performance, he may be trying his best to adapt and get to blend in with the team but because the expectations are high already, he may not even be given the benefit of time to fit in, it's as if they want him fitting in already and giving the results they expect of him irrespective of the they understand he's not the only one in that team who will get the team victory and time to blend in and fit with the teams style of play is needed.
Expectations do make some conditions more difficult than imagined but in the end on the one hand we also know that indeed the great expectations of Mbappe especially with the hype generated when his arrival in Madrid earlier this season provided a different situation that made our expectations look too big.
Although indeed for now we can realize that in the end the performance given does not really match expectations, but indeed in terms of positive thinking, of course we will consider this as a slow adaptation because he has not joined for long and with a new position and new things given when he is given the position of targetman which incidentally is new to the club level, it is clear that this is a little difficult for Mbappe to develop his potential.I still hope that he will still show good results for the rest of the season even though we have to lower our expectations a little but I think this is still possible.
