I'm afraid that the character limit issue was going to be a problem soon (again) in the list of translations of the second post of this thread. We'll have to find out a solution when it happens...
I just made a post regarding this issue in the meta section, hoping some kinds of solution can be made available to us. But it looks like this limitation is imposed by SMF not the forum admin! And even if they somehow increased the limit, it may lead to some instability! Not so easily changeable!
On another note, I remember AoBTers that we have two new translations in progress. No need to rush, just a friendly reminder because maybe it went unnoticed:
