Bangladesh cricket team does not have player who can hit ball strongly and confidently like teams from England Australia and India. Bangladeshi players seem to have trouble playing Test cricket because they get nervous and hesitant. They do not play as smoothly as players from other countries. Bangladesh recent wins against Pakistan in Test matches were unexpected but it is also true that Pakistan didn't have their best players. If Pakistan had played with their strongest team they might have won. If Bangladesh keeps playing carelessly they will probably lose match.
Bangladesh cricket team is lagging behind only because of the lack of experienced batsmen in the squad. And this problem is a long-standing problem of Bangladesh national team. Bangladesh squad does not have any batsmen who are capable of batting responsibly and playing big innings. The performance of every batsman in the squad is very erratic. This is why Bangladesh team is lagging behind.
I do not know why Mahmudul Hasan Joy is being given a place in Bangladesh squad in every match. I do not see this batsman batting well. Mahmudul Hasan Joy could probably collect 11 runs in the two innings of the first match against West Indies. Mahmudul Hasan Joy added only 3 runs to the scoreboard in the first innings of the second match.
