Given the critical role that electricity plays in the development of society, why do the leaders of those developing nations either not prioritize solving their energy-related issues or seem content with the status quo?
the worst part of this analogy is that some of this developing nation that are still straggling with electricity generation have abundance of crude oil that they export and yet they can't boost of half a day electricity supply that's up and running on a regular. energy usage is what holds today's society and a society that is yet to solve her energy crisis is obviously not ready for any feasible group.

imagine running a college education in an environment that lacks power, and you expect the student to measure up with their counterpart that are in regions where power outage is almost like an abomination, and they have their device always powered on. how can you measure up to those set of people when as a student you have to set your reading schedule based on the few times power will be brought? industries can't even function well because almost all the major industry depends on power for most of her operation.

overpopulation is mostly an issue in an urban part of these developing countries because the urban part is the only region where you have access to electricity, and this drives business to just a segment of the society while the rural part without these basic anilities is left almost unhabitable because of lack of power and this in general cause a deceleration in development in such nations.
