You must be pretty unaware Trump is pretty much friends with Russia and the regime of Vladimir Putin. You should.check the lastest appointments he has made for his administration team, to be honest he does not seem to have problems with appointing people who spread misinformation in favor of the Russian Federation for important roles within the government of the USA.
The way I see it, the intelligence and the political strategy for the coming years in the Trump administration are at risk of being compromised by Russian assets working for the USA and spying directly in favor of Putin. One must wonder whether Trump is dense enough not to see it or he sees it and it is completely okey with it.
