I tell you and is very bad for one to go extra miles in borrowing money to cover up for their gambling activities, it's sure a pure state of gambling addiction just like someone that can go miles to  smoke or take illicit drugs.
Well borrowing money isn't that bad but the worst thing is that such addicts sell their household things and belongings of their siblings and other family members.

Some addicts often sell their wives items and some even forget all moral values and do worst things possible.

The addicts that are highly addicted don't really have any moral values and they could literally cross all lines.
IMO borrowing money just to gamble should be against to any person's values. I mean it's a borrowed money and you're in debt, why would you spend those in a 50-50 situation, it should put on a investment and maybe a life-threatening situation. It shouldn't be done, and people should realize that gambling isn't a sure hit, what if you've went to the loss side, then it's a big problem too for the lender right? borrowed money shouldn't be spent in gambling or any luxurious items that's not really helpful for your growth, it's an unwritten rule. It shouldn't be a problem if the borrower can really pay if he losses, like the agreement should be done on a specific date but if not, then it's a hassle.
