Well borrowing money isn't that bad but the worst thing is that such addicts sell their household things and belongings of their siblings and other family members.
Borrowing money to solve some problems isn’t bad, but borrowing money to gamble is really bad. Most of the people that take loans to gamble are always finding it difficult to pay back, because even when they have the amount that they borrowed, and they are supposed to pay it back, they will end up gambling with it, with the mindset of multiplying the money. What makes an addicted gambler to sell their properties just because they want to gamble, Some do go to the length of stealing just because they want to gamble, if people like that can take a loan, then if things don’t really go well for them, they won’t be paying back the loan.
Some addicts often sell their wives items and some even forget all moral values and do worst things possible.
Addicted gamblers are just the main reason why people in most societies think gambling is a bad activity. Addicted gamblers do crazy things in the society that have spoiled the reputation of gambling in most societies. Why do you have to sell your properties or sell your wife's items just because you want to gamble? It doesn’t make any sense.
