Even a few seasons ago, when Benzema was in charge, Real Madrid didn't play well. It seems to me that this isn't the Real Madrid coach's objective. He focuses only on getting good results. Winning the game is what interests him most. And they're not completely wrong. Proof of this is that he's now close to becoming the leader of the table again and Real Madrid will be champions again this season. I have no doubt about that. Because like I said: the Real Madrid coach just wants goals and victories. It doesn't matter if it's 1 goal or 2. As long as he doesn't concede a goal and we win, that's fine. That's why he's not worried about Mbappe, because when we look at the numbers:

These numbers aren't bad for a striker.
13 games and 8 goals, not too bad for Mbappe performances, but because he is a super star player, people expect too much from him. They forgot that Mbappe only joined Real Madrid in this summer and he had limited time for preseason training as consequences of Euro 2024 and Coppa America 2024. Many players in Real Madrid had to play in these tournaments and they had less time of training together in the summer.
I agree that Mbappe did not play with his best so far for Real Madrid but I believe he will improve his performances soon.
But this is too superficial if we want to discuss Mbappe's performance in the last few months. He has scored some penalties included in those 8 goals, which is fine, but Real Madrid needs him to score goals apart from penalties. That is what he is known for. He scores when the opponents expect it the least. The numbers aren't bad, but this is like looking at the numbers when a striker scored 5 goals in 1 game and then doesn't score the next 4 games. He then averages 1 goal per game, but is it good for the team? I doubt it
The biggest thing Real Madrid can do to help Mbappe, is reducing pressure on him, and giving him opportunities to score goals from penalties is one of their attempts. Mbappe will return to better performances when he plays and enjoys matches, not with too much pressure at any match debut.
People in the last 20 years have become familiar with supermen like Messi and Ronaldo and they want to see the same from Mbappe and Haaland. They ignore fact that players like Messi and Ronaldo are not easily found in football history. Mbappe is a great player but requires him to play like either Messi or Ronaldo is too much.
