And no, never really wanted to be a football player. At most, volleyball. It was the sport I was most invested in during elementary and high school, but outside of school level tourneys I never really had that big of an interest. As for my kid going into sports, danger is always accompanied in that scene imo. Just the training itself, without any proper mentor, could lead to a LOT of issues for them players. Personally wouldn't mind it as long as someone can actually guide them to proper training.
