Good big game Yesterday. Dortmund scored thanks to Bynoe-Gittens' individual flair after coming out of pressure in the front area with a pass. But Nuri Şahin's scoring woes were evident in this match as well. They couldn't keep the lead and conceded a ridiculous goal in the last minutes. Bayern almost would have lost in the end, but it didn't happen again. Bayern's five-game winning streak came to an end, but they still lead with a big point difference. If Eintracht Frankfurt win today, the points difference will be down to 4. That's still a gap of at least two games.
Dortmund really did well in this match even though they did not win the match. Getting a draw against Bayern Munich should be a boost of confidence for them going forward. They played in their home field, so that could have also been the reason for their spectacular performance yesterday. Bayern Munich never had the too many chance to score in this match, and luckily they got to draw the match which is still commendable one for them looking at their current form and class in the league. I don’t know if Dortmund can continue this great performance after this game, this could help them going forward and also give them more chances of making it to the top four positions of the Bundesliga after the league have shown come competitiveness with many teams coming up to be worthy and with potentials of winning the league title too.
