By the end of day 2, the winning percentage of West Indies was 72%, and for Bangladesh, it was just 20% and 8% to draw. Today everything has changed, and the winning percentage of West Indies is at 55%. For Bangladesh it has increased to 43%, and the chance of a draw is just 2%.
I was not at all prepared to see such a terrible batting performance by West Indies on the third day. Since West Indies batsmen batted very responsibly on the second day, I thought that West Indies would dominate the match on the third day as well. And the team would be able to take a lead of at least 100+ runs. But at the end of the first innings, West Indies team was 18 runs behind Bangladesh.
It was unexpected that Bangladesh team would take the lead even after scoring only 164 runs. Bangladesh was able to take the lead due to the good performance of Bangladeshi bowlers. Especially Nahid Rana bowled very well in the first innings. Nahid Rana took 5 important wickets. Hasan Mahmud took two wickets.
