Effective taxation is part of the reason that most developed economies, like the ones in Europe, are able to exist and flourish so much. People have collectively pooled their resources and trust the government institutions enough to disperse it effectively. This in theory allows you to wield a lot more power as a buyer and push down the prices charged in all sorts of areas. A seller will love government contracts because they'll be able to push through orders for hundreds of thousands or millions of units rather than hundreds that a single buyer might put in for an order.
The problem is that for now only a handful of countries and indeed those who are already developed can distribute their taxes well.
In this case I am one of the many who do not trust the government in my country that manages taxes, because indeed if you look at the track record that is done sometimes, taxes are always used as a means to enrich officials in my country today with corruption that continues to occur without being prevented.

I recognize that when a developed country manages taxes well, there will be prosperity both in resources and infrastructure, but this cannot be done much for underdeveloped and even underdeveloped countries where officials in the government always circumvent taxes with several things under the pretext of regulations for their own benefit by eating taxes collected from citizens.
