I don’t think Pep Guardiola or Manchester City supporters were prepared for this drastic drop in performance. I believe Manchester City will bounce back from this. I laugh at anyone who says Pep should be sacked because City is doing as well as they normally would. People forget the times before Pep arrived at Manchester City. How many trophies have Manchester City won before Pep came into the picture? City should be grateful that they are champions because of Pep and they shouldn’t delude themselves into thinking that they could have achieved the same results with another manager.
Manchester City decline in performance has disappointed many who are connected to the club, but most importantly Guardiola must be able to improve the team's performance in order to achieve victory and restore the players' confidence. Now all parties must support them to get out of the slump, Guardiola also needs to work together with the players so that they return to their best performance. Pep Guardiola has done something that no manager has done before in the EPL, I am sure, this situation will not last long. He will soon find his best form to revive the competition in the title race.
Yes, there is still a chance for Pep Guardiola to make changes and restore Manchester City's performance which is currently not good. But I think it will take a long time because the top teams have made many changes and shown their best performance with their new coach, even though Manchester City has returned to its performance, it will still be a very tight competition, especially with Liverpool who are currently in their best performance which always produces good results in every match which I think is difficult to catch up with even though Pep Guardiola can change it because Liverpool are sure to always win matches in every match which makes them soar at the top of the standings.
Nothing will be smooth and eternal in any journey including in the world of football, and there will be a time when a team will become weak and be replaced by another team because they make changes and as the saying goes the wheel turns.
