Of course it's easier to find a low entropy private key if the public key were known. Guess why all puzzles which are multiples of 5 up and including #130 are already solved. While the hunt for #67 is on, puzzles #70, #75, #80, ... have been solved long ago for exactly the reason because their public key has been deliberately exposed by the puzzle's creator.
