When i saw the starting line up of Barcelona, i almost questioned the coach's choice of starting players but not until the second half that i saw the ability of the squad and they won with huge goals even without Robert Lewandoski. Hansi Flick really understands the team more than anyone else and he will really lead the team to glory because his strategies has been working for the team ever since the season resumed. I didn't expect that Barcelona will score high goals in this match because when Mallorca equalized the goal Barcelona scored earlier in the first half, i was thinking that Barcelona will find it difficult in the second half but the second half even became more easier for them.
Flick took a gamble and he's lucky it worked out for him because in the first half, aside from the goal, Ferran Torres who replaced Lewandoski in the starting 11 was very horrible. Everything about him was off. His first touch was awful, his runs, his link-up play, positioning, everything was just bad. If they had a clinical striker up front, the score could easily be 2-0 in the first half.
The penalty turned the game around for Barcelona.
The penalty which led to Barcelona's second goal increased the momentum of Barcelona and reduced that of Mallorca. Marlloca didn't have the confidence and drive they did anymore plus they were beginning to get tired because they couldn't continue pressing for 90 minutes.
