Mallorca has been doing extremely well since the beginning of this campaign with a 2-1 win against Valencia, that would keep Barcelona on their toes because the host are not in any way going to mess around like they (Barcelona) did against Palmas. Mallorca are here for business and if care is not taken it can turn out to be another point loss for Barcelona. Being the favorite doesn't mean they (Barcelona) will feel relaxed or underrate their opponent, they need to get all 3pt to keep the title hope alive but this game could end in a draw from the way the host played out last time but let's wait to see how Flick's men control the show.
I'm only worrying how Barcelona will play without Yamal. He was the one who helped club to speed up the game, and it's the same situation when they lost Dembele when Xavi was there. They played worse when they missed their winger. In fact, Yamal has been one of their most contributed player this season. Missing him is gonna impact their performance.
Talking about the odds for this game, obviously Barcelona is favorite, but i'm doubting them. They get 1.60, which fair enough consider they're going away after they lost. The problem is that their morale is bit low after they lost dramatically against Palmas. They have to fix this in this game.
Yamal has been the material they need to get the game going for Barcelona, Flick shouldn't make any mistake by reserving this player if he's fit to play. The player is still growing and he needs to work more on his finishing to become one of the best if not a world class player. Dembele situation wasn't the same as this guy Yamal, I'd prefer to have this Yamal than Dembele because Yamal is a force on his own than Dembele. The France player has lost those qualities a long time ago so he can't even make the Barcelona team even if he is given a second chance, he'll be starting as a sub.
Losing to Las Palmas has woken Barcelona up I must say because the way they played tonight's game was as if the Mallorca side were having a man down, although the home team wasn't in a good shape, imagine them having 11 offside like is what they were aiming at. It was a disappointing performance from the home team but all credit should be given to Barcelona for bouncing back. I was expecting a draw but the league leaders need to step up their game and Flick need to learn how to play without Yamal if not it will affect them if he has any form of injury or maybe suspension.
Barcelona win the game against against Mallorca with five goals. Yamal played, and like what i have expected. They're always feeling so confidence when he was there. He has messi's level impact to the Barcelona, and when they missed him, they played badly.
I don't realle care whether he was scoring or not, but Yamal's effect is real. The game was 50/50 before his fantastic trivela helped Barcelona to add another score.
He was amazing. Barcelona can't do that without him.
That's what I said about Flick, he shouldn't let Yamal's absence affect the team. They should be strong and play well even when he's not around because some teams will take advantage of it and punish them, Barcelona can never be a complete team if they rely on one player, that's the same thing that happened to Arsenal when Odegaard wasn't present, they weren't as sharp as they used to be when Odegaard wasn't around so is best to not build a team round one player. No doubt, he's an excellent player who wants to play more and get more goals, at this point he's better than Mbappe.
