What are your thoughts of Paul Atkins with his background, could be be a pro-crypto SEC chair?
I do not really care about a name, I just hope that whoever gets the job finally does not have a stubborn hate towards bitcoins.
i guess it is a lot more difficult to give my input because i am not a us citizen i am not as educated about the officials in their country i know the major ones but leaders of certain departments? i would never know and i bet a lot of us also doesn’t
i don’t know who should be the sec but i do know it should be someone objective and logical and not driven by personal preference
Paper certificates and records can be different from what a man has in his heart, if his credentials show that he is qualified for the job, and in his heart, he has a secret hate or grudges towards bitcoins, he will still not make favorable policies for bitcoin, but may continue from where the last chairman stopped, maybe even do worse. I hope whosoever gets the job is someone who is willing to allow change and new things.
this is why i said it should be someone objective though tbf i don’t think trump will put a anti bitcoin person in that position but if the most qualified man isn’t necessarily a bitcoin enthusiast i can understand as long as he promise not to prevent any development of bitcoin for the sake of his own agenda
