You might never know how good a custom official can be, in case if you haven't boarded an international flight in 2023 or 2024. They are now highly trained depending on the country they belong or they are operating. I personally have not encountered such a mess yet, I will not deny the theory by OP.

If the OP is someone questionable, he might be at a risk of losing everything. If not then still he can get his wallet hacked if anyone  has injected a virus on his hardware wallet. The current market conditions is bullish and everyone in the customs knows how physical wallet works.

I think and I do think in a responsible manner that OP should not use a physical wallet that has been already opened. It is better for the OP to find alternatives to secure the assets.
