I decided to predict what Liverpool will actually perform in next week's Champions League from their performance in the English Premier League midweek. When I thought that liver pool is losing to Newcastle United, that suddenly turn it and it is now 2:2 with much likelihood that Liverpool is going to win the match. If Liverpool successfully win this match tonight it means that they will also win girona because they are moral will be high and they will be building their block of unbeating. But if the eventually lose the Newcastle, the high spirit and moral to face Girona in the Champions League could be hampered. Before I'll give my predictions for the match, lemme just enjoy tonight's match.

The outcome of yesterday’s premier league match for Liverpool shouldn't be an assessment on how they’re going to perform in the champions league, after all, they are two different competitions and each of them has their own way the players face them with much confidence and quality to win the game. Liverpool have been the best team in the champions league and are maintaining the first position on the standings. Even if they’d lost to Newcastle yesterday, it won’t matter to them and they won’t underperform in the champions league since they will even be playing against Girona, whom their performance is very poor in the champions league and may face elimination from this first round of the champions league.

Liverpool's defense is still very solid at the moment so that a team that does not have a very sharp striker will clearly have difficulty breaking through it and that has been felt by Real Madrid this season when facing Liverpool. And for the next match I think Girona will also be the same even though each team has a different story in terms of this, but when you look at Liverpool's current level of strength and defense, it is clear that Girona will also find it difficult to break through Liverpool's goal in the Champions League.

In this match, I think Girona will be looking for ways to defend the match and not to concede more goals than for them trying to attack more and win more goals. They know they’re facing a better team than them who has a better squad than them in all positions in the field. In order to limit their losses, they’ll want defend more to get a draw rather then going out full for a win which may likely not be possible for them looking at their performance in the competition so far this season.
